Italian Greyhounds range in size from the teeny 6 lb prancing dancing bundles of energy to the 15 lb regal statuesqe Greyhound look-alikes. The 6 lb Italian Greyhounds (IGs) typically need a 5/8" martingale collar, which is available through my La Petite Woof line. The size X-small will adjust down to 7 inches, which is the smallest size we offer.

For the larger IGs, I still don't recommend a 1.5" or 2" martingale collar. The 5/8" or 1" size Martingale Collar truly works best for their little necks. The wrap-around lining DOES add bulk to the collar and makes it more difficult to adjust.

As for sizing, the X-Small martingale collar typically fits best. Sometimes customers are tempted to order a size Small in a collar that isn't available in the XSmall size and end up with a martingale collar that is much too large for their Italian Greyhound. I don't recommend this and cannot be held responsible if you order the wrong sized italian greyhound collar hoping it will fit.
