| Our one of a kind hand embroidered, hand painted, and hand jeweled (Swarovski crystals) dog collars were so popular at Dewey Beach this year that we are bringing them to our website. We will be offering one of a kind collars to our customers as we are able to get them made and soon we will also offer the option of ordering your own custom made collar that is made exactly the way you want it. See below for a few pictures.
First we have the daisies. Each daisy is painstakingly hand embroidered onto the silk dupioni (many hours of work and blisters went into these collars!) and then the silk is sewn onto the wrapped webbing base and then we hand placed Swarovski crystal accents. I can't say it enough - I LOVE THESE COLLARS!
My personal favorite...this painted/embroidered collection is from a vine sketch that Xan made, my husband and I painted each collar using premium jacquard paint, hand set the paint, and then I hand embroidered each flower and hand placed each swarovski for a sparkling accent.
Speaking of sparkling, one of my newest assistants (Anna) HAND PLACED each Swarovski crystal in the collars below freehand!! She has such a precise hand, she can take one of my scribbled drawings and a pile of crystals and turn it into what you see below. WOW! This girl isn't going anywhere, I have threatened to handcuff her to her table!
And then...lush garden. I love the rich jewel tones in the copper and bronze version and the bold bright colors in the fuschia collar will have all the girly girls begging their Mom for this collar! Each collar consists of many many yards of hand embroidered silk ribbon and over 12 hours of labor per collar!
