No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the nylon webbing has been tested to pull up to 3800 lbs.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

We love our harness. Our dog doesn’t pull anymore and appears to be very comfortable. He didn’t like his old leash/collar combination and would not get excited for walks. Now he gets excited when I bring out the harness and leash and put it on him. The quality is excellent. LOVE IT!

This harness has been an absolute life saver. My basset hound used to Houdini out of his normal collar. It was terrifying when it would happen on the streets of NYC. The 2 Hounds harness makes walking both of my dogs a pleasure. The dogs are very secure in their 2 Hounds harness which makes ME feel safe. The harness also helps to control pulling. Excellent design. We Love It!

After just one walk with our stubborn beagle we were able to switch to just the back hook. He got right in line and we’ve been enjoying our walks ever since.

This is our 4th brand harness we bought for our 2 very strong mixed breed dogs. These are by far the best! When used with the training leash along with some simple training techniques my dogs hardly pull but even if they do, they are quickly and easily stopped without hurting them. They are also very well made and comfortable for my dogs.

I know there are a BUNCH of harnesses on the market – but these work so great and are not bulky or complicated. Once you have it adjusted just right it’s very easy to use. I had one of these for my older dog and especially for a young dog learning leash behavior there is just nothing better. They are quality made (I’ve had my first one for many years now) and when my new dog arrived I ordered two more – one for everyday and one for when we are traveling that is reflective. The reflective material is soft and integrated like the others. The velvet along the bottom keeps these from being irritating if I decide to leave them on when they are not on a leash but may be soon. Truly you will really enjoy these harnesses. I was so happy to find that they were still being made and doing well!

    10 Stars

I guess I will need to make two reviews to give the 10 stars that this harness deserves. I have two very strong Great Danes. The eldest is 9 years old and his brother is 1 1/2 years old. They are both good walkers but will pull occasionally. I refuse to use a prong collar for control and the over the nose harness was too difficult to use properly. They both slip the loop all the way up to their eyes or just continuously scratch at their faces to remove it. So when the harness arrived I wasn’t very optimistic. I adjusted the straps before I tried it on the pup to help ease him into the new collar. I normally would have to chase him to put the collar due to his excitement. The new harness slipped over his head and the straps connected with ease but what happened next just amazed me. He sat down and waited for me take him out the door. He walked right next to me for the whole trip. His demeanor was relaxed and he really enjoyed the walk. I thought that it may just be an anomaly and that he would be back to over excitement on the next trip. But it never happened. His behavior has changed completely. He’s a different dog. I would recommend this harness without any reservations. So ten stars from me.

    Our new favorite rig!

This is a great harness. I love that it resolves 80% of my dog’s tendency to pull ANd the multiple ways to connect it. She loves the velvet lining and how lightweight it is—she walks right into it every time I bring it down from the hook. When/if the current one breaks, I’ll be back for another. She’s the sharpest looking dog on our block, and she doesn’t strain my biceps anymore when a squirrel goes by.
