No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling, as well as redirecting your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode and the nylon webbing has been tested to pull up to 3800 lbs.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs, for example – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to use in correlation with the Freedom No-Pull Harness and provides additional control points. This allows the weight to be evenly distributed.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle which allows the leash to be used in multiple configurations.

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two attachment points, the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  Also, the handle on the Euro leash is removable and can be used separately.

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the harness in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place the harness in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your harness.

We love our harness! We have been using it since our golden retriever was 4-5 months old and he walks so well with it on- no pulling. We love the velvety padded part because it chafes less. He did chew his first one when we forgot and left it on after the walk and we had twisted it a bit when putting it on by mistake, so now we just are sure to take it off when it’s not needed. Our dog Harry does not like getting it put on (we use a treat to tempt his head through) but once it is on he is fine with it. We like the leash too- it is so flexible with being able to attach to the front, top or both. I am about to order the longer leash now that he is a bit older. Everyone at doggy school admires the system and asks where we got it. Love it!

Our Great Dane pups are truly larger than life and in need of a fitting harness because by 6 months they had outgrown everything on the retail market! A neighbor told us about the Freedom Harness and we ordered two in a large and extra large for our female and male. They are very easy to use! The pups love getting harnessed up as this means going out for a walk or a ride, so we’ve never had an issue slipping it over their heads, and the side buckles are easy to manage as well. I’m fact; they often try to put them on themselves as they are hanging on the hook by the door! Being able to steer them is a must so the dual connection lead works well for us, and we feel they are safely restrained for a car ride as well. This product is well constructed and available in a wide range of sizes to get us through the massive growth spurts! Thanks for such an innovative design that is American made!

Love this for our 90 lb coonhound! He started in a large as a puppy and we just purchased the XL for an upgrade. Love the quality of the harness. It keeps him near and minimal tugging without chains or painful harnesses. Highly recommend, big or small!

The harness was specifically recommended to us by our trainer who said this is better for the dog than the gentle leader we had been using to help curb our dog’s pulling on the leash (even though the gentle leader was working). It’s been about a week and so far it hasn’t worked at all to prevent him from pulling. A disappointing waste of $45.

I have been using 2 Hounds Freedom harnesses for many years. This latest one has the same high quality as ever. These harnesses work great!! Easy to put on. Safe for my dogs (no neck pulling!). The harness makes it easy for me to control my dogs. The best harness I’ve found! (Plus I love the awesome color options!)

Easy to put on, good quality. Works well in the car too.

We have been using this 2 Hounds harness on our Sheltie in a small for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with it. It solved our pulling issues. We are ordering another in a different color now because the original is showing some wear from all its been through but the original still works fine.

It works great on our lab puppy. He’s 8 months old and the large fits him with enough room to grow. The harness fits much better than any other harness that we have used. We added the double connection leash and I think that makes a difference with controlling the pup. It’s also to take on and off than the other ones that we used. I’m very pleased with the quality of the materials used.

Fantastic harness. It’s our second one. Our poodle thinks he’s an Iditarod sled dog. He is a PULLER!!! This is the only harness that is sturdy, comfortable for him, and works!
