Teal Freedom No-Pull Dog Harness

SKU: zhntl

Regular Price From $29.58

No force, no pain.  Just an enjoyable walk with your dog!

Clear

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a patented control loop on the back of the harness which tightens gently around your dog’s chest to discourage pulling behavior and makes walking your dog an easy, more enjoyable experience for both of you.  It also features a structural connection ring on the front of the harness.  Connecting to this ring is optional, but recommended, as it allows you to attach to the front and back of the harness simultaneously.  Used this way, you are able to control pulling and redirect your dog’s attention back to you for training and treats.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness features a Swiss velvet-lined chest strap to help prevent rubbing and chafing behind the front legs.  The stainless steel hardware used on the harness will never rust or corrode, and the nylon webbing has been tested to pull up to 3800 lbs.  It will not break or fray, no matter how hard your dog pulls.

The Freedom No-Pull Harness is designed to fit any dog from 14 lbs all the way up to 250+ lbs.

Sizing

It comes in two widths:

5/8” for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

1” for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

To measure your dog for the harness, use a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string) and measure all the way around the largest part of your dog’s chest.  Choose the SMALLEST size that fits within that measurement.

Multiple Leash Attachment Options!

Training Leash

The training leash is designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure.  It has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing the leash to be used in multiple configurations:

  • Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  • Connect to just the front or the back of the harness.
  • Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time.

When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 4′ long when attached to a single point.  As the name suggests, this shorter leash is especially useful for training.

Euro Leash

The Euro leash is just like the training leash but is 6′ long when connected to both attachments, and 8′ long when connected to a single point.  The handle is removable and can be used separately. The Euro leash can be used in the following configurations:

  • 8″ Traffic handle all by itself.
  • Fold leash in half. Clip one end of leash to your dog’s collar or harness and the other end to the stationary ring. Clip the Traffic Handle to the floating ring. This makes a 4′ lead.
  • To create a 2 foot leash, continue from step two, slide the floating O-ring towards you and reconnect it to the bolt snap that is connected to your dog’s collar.
  • Place lead around shoulder/back and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • Place lead around waist and clip (1) end to floating ring and other end to dog. This makes a hands-free lead.
  • To keep your dog close and safe while sitting stationary with him/her, simply attach leash to your dog and wrap the handle end of leash around a pole, fence post, railing or small tree and attach both snaps in the handle to the floating o-ring. (use this method only while remaining with your dog)

Nylon Leash

The nylon leash is a standard 4′ or 6′ leash with one connection and an adjustable handle.

We love this harness! This is our second one, after almost wearing out our first. Very pretty colors and the medium 5/8 inch wide harness is perfect for our Springerdoodle Zoey, who weighs 45 ponds. We keep in on her all the time, but so great for walks. It really helped train her.

Well made, love the velvet part against the dog. We have a rambunctious, untrained Irish Setter mix, when clipped to both front and top I am able to control her better. I love the versatility of being able to clip into both points or one or the other. As she matures it will still be useful and grow with her physically and training wise.

    Finally!

We have a shy rescue that will back out of her harness. This is the 6th harness we’ve purchased and finally found a winner! It’s easy to adjust, seems comfortable when snug, fits her perfectly, and she hasn’t backed out yet. We typically only connect the leash to the back ring because she isn’t a puller. So happy our dog trainer recommended this harness!

    Perfectly avoids his injured neck

    Julie (verified owner)

This harness fits my distinguished old gentleman lab/husky perfectly to avoid re-injuring his neck. The velvet strap under the belly also makes sure he doesn’t get rubbed raw under his arms! I didn’t purchase for a pulling issue but it’s still a great product for my purposes!!

    Beautiful, Functional Harness

I bought this harness for my newly adopted three-year old greyhound. It’s works perfectly to help me control her in her new urban setting where she is still a little spooked by city noise and there are plenty of squirrels to chase. I feel so much more secure with the harness vs. a traditional martingale. Wonderful, pretty product!

We ordered the harness and euro leash for our Boxer x AmStaff. He is only 6 months old and generally does well on a leash but struggled with impulse control. Our kids couldn’t walk him for fear he’d take off after a bird and yank their arms. This system has been night and day. It corrects him but also absorbs some of the shock, so even if he does jump we can hold on practically with our pinky and barely notice it. Our walks have become so much more enjoyable and the kids are thrilled to be able to walk him. Highly recommend this system.

Honestly great with one tiny flaw....

    Sabrina (verified owner)

This is an AWESOME product. Love the designs, how it’s one of the only harnesses that fits my staffy mix with a wide chest. The only flaw with this harness is that the piece that goes under his armpits doesn’t have velvet all the way along it. The strap is made of velvet which is AWESOME except for a tiny square in the middle where the harness leads to the chest. Of course where that little square of non velvet fabric is, we have gotten a pretty gnarly rash. Going to buy some soft material just for that square but please make new harnesses where the ENTIRE girth strap is velvet, we do love our harness though!

This is the 5th or 6th harness and collar that I have bought, not because the wear out – different dogs and recently my girl has put on a little bit of weight, so we had to go up a size. The quality is so good, that I don’t think they would ever wear out to be honest. I love the design, quality and colours. Keep up the good work.

This is total game changer! My pitt mix Max has a strong prey drive and wants to chase all squirrels and bunnies – but now I have regained control! Absolutely recommend.

Overall fantastic harness, my dog doesn’t seem to pull nearly as much as he used to. I really like how the leash length is adjustable and that it can clip to multiple points on the harness. I ordered a L for my 75Lb Rottweiler/Lab, probably should have ordered an XL but the Large does fit perfectly as long as he doesn’t gain any weight.

This is my second harness; the first one I bought through Chewy. I made the mistake of leaving it on my pup and leaving her unattended. She chewed it clean off. I am excited to see that 2 hounds offers the chew replacement. But for leash training and walking my girl, I am super impressed.

This harness is amazing for my girl! She’s a reactive lab/hound mix so walks can be hard, and the double attachment gives me peace of mind knowing I can redirect more easily without worrying about her slipping out. It’s also nice being able to just use a back attachment again too, and still feel like I have control. It’s a great harness, and easily adjustable so that as she loses some weight I can keep using it.

We have a 5 month golden retriever who is an extreme chewer and were excited to use this training harness to her. We managed to walk her with it for only a day as she just chewed it off and broke the harness.

I’m just disappointed on the durability of the item, especially with all the reviews out here and the premium price of the product.

Yes, the harness only lasted a day. At least I’ll still be able to use the training leash to the other harness she uses.

I saw your review come through and I really appreciate you taking the time to leave it.  I wanted to reach out in case you didn’t realize we have a chewing warranty on the Freedom Harness.  Here is the link that explains it:  https://www.2houndsdesign.com/product/harness-replacement-warranty/

I’m not usually a big fan of front clip no pull harnesses because they pull on the shoulders and alter their gait. After my dog suffered a neck injury, I had to switch to a harness but couldn’t use a back clip harness because he is 110lbs and leash reactive to some dogs. This harness not only allows free movement but the back martingale loop prevents the harness from pulling on the shoulders. This harness has given me amazing control during our walks and you will not catch me using anything else!

Really good harness, especially for my barrel chested Black & Tan Coonhound that likes to pull. This is our second one, had to go up a size now that he is full grown.

I love this harness. Our puppy is growing rapidly and we can keep adjusting the fit. We will be ordering the extra large in a few months. The color choices are great and the construction is really sturdy.

We love our no-pull harnesses. They are the only ones we feel help control our dogs when they can’t control themselves. And 2hounds is great about their no chew warranty – we have a chewy girl!
