Both the Training Leash and Euro Leash were designed to be used as a double connection leash on the Freedom No-Pull Harness. and both allow you to connect to the front and back of the harness, along with a few other features.

  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the training leash in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your training leash.

Need a double connection leash to use with your Freedom Harness? We’ve got two options to choose from in fun patterns made using Recycled Polyester Webbing (can you believe this leash used to be plastic bottles?!).

Both the Training Leash and Euro Leash were designed to be used on the Freedom No-Pull Harness. and both allow you to connect to the front and back of the harness, along with a few other features.

Standard Training Leash (Double Connection Training Leash):

The standard training leash is a shorter leash that allows you to keep your dog close to you while training. This leash has a permanently attached “floating” handle, allowing it to be used in multiple configurations. When connected to two points the training leash is 3′ long including the floating handle, and 5′ long when attached to a single point. As the name suggests, this shorter double connection leash is especially useful for training (we prefer this one!).

EURO Double Connection Dog Leash:

The Euro leash has a detachable handle and was developed to work in combination with the patented FREEDOM Harness as a front / rear control. When connected to two points, the Euro leash is 5′ long including the detachable handle and 8′ long when attached to a single point on the harness.

Both double connection leashes are designed to be used in conjunction with the Freedom No-Pull Harness. It provides additional control points, which evenly distributes pressure. Both leashes have multiple configurations, some are included below.

  1. Connect to the front and the back of the harness simultaneously.
  2. Clip one end to the handle and the other to just the front or the back of the harness.
  3. Connect to the harness and a collar at the same time for escape artists!

    Well made and very pretty!

    2 hounds products are well made and are a good training tool. The reason I gave this 4 instead of 5 stars is that I ordered a 5/8 “ leash but received the 1”. The packing slip even said it was a 5/8” leash. I didn’t return it as I figured I’d use it once I got my dog trained to walk on the 2hounds harness alone. She’s a lab/pit mix who pulls like a tank. I’m using a gentle leader and a 2 hounds harness together, which seems to get her attention . We’re actually using just the 2 hounds by itself about half the time now. The 1” leash will be fine once she’s just using the harness. I have and old smaller leash that I’ve been using with the gentle leader part of her training as it’s not as heavy.

    Aloha training leash

    We opted for the training leash in this one. It perfectly matches her freedom harness which has been a miracle in itself. The leash is vibrantly colored and is of perfect thickness. We tried both sizes (Europe in another style and the trainer in the Aloha) and prefer the training length for more control. It is also usable on other harnesses but the freedom harness is the true ticket here. Don't know what about makes it optimal for walking. It is a beautiful accompaniment to the ever effective freedom harness. Aloha!

    The Aloha european leash

    First time with this kind of leash. Very interesting. My dog is a small dog so using the leash as a double connect leash, he gets tangled in the leash. But that won't stop me from using the double connect version when it's called for. Love the Aloha print. My dog is long haired so taking pics of the collar/harness won't really show the items
