  • You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a pillow case and using the gentle cycle OR place it in a sink filled with cold water and detergent.  Let it soak and rinse it well.  Always air dry your collar.

Your pup will be ready to pose for the family photo with our sophisticated Swiss velvets!

This collar is made with velvet on one side and strong nylon webbing on the other. It is not satin-lined. You may choose between either a martingale, buckle martingale, or side release style.

Add a matching velvet leash to complete the set!  5/8″ leashes are paired with 5/8″ collars, and 1″ leashes are paired with 1″ collars.

The velvet/nylon/velvet leashes are made with the Teal velvet on one side, solid teal velvet on the other, and a strong teal nylon webbing lining.  These are available in 4 ft or 6 ft lengths and you can choose between brass or silver hardware.

The 5/8” leashes are made for smaller dogs under 40 lbs – Dachshunds, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, Jack Russel Terriers, Beagles, Miniature Schnauzers, etc.

The 1” leashes are made for larger dogs over 40 lbs – Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Pit Bulls, Great Danes, etc.

    Love love love!

    Got this collar to match his harness! Love that it’s velvet, seems to not itch him as much! And teal is his color for sure!

    Teal Swiss Velvet Side Release Medium Dog Collar

    Perfect neck fit and color for my Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler! Matches her 1 blue eye and blue merle coat perfectly without looking at her and thinking she might be a Boy dog. I went back and forth from the Teal or Turquoise, trying to pick the color that fits her without looking too "Boyish". So happy I went with the Teal! Perfect for a Girl pup that looks good in shades of blue!

    I do absolutely love the aluminum silver hardware too! It really adds the finishing touches to the look of this Collor. The only slight complaint I have with the hardware is that my side release buckle doesn't snap open automatically to be able to release the Collar one handed. This may just be me and my small hands or just never having used anything except cheap plastic buckles that dont have their own release mechanism built inside of the hardware like these do. This makes for great peace of mind, as well, knowing any tension that gets put on this Collors hardware should not snap it open easily.

    I would and do highly recommend 2 Hounds Design to anyone looking to purchase quality "dogalized" (personalized) Collors that are reasonably priced for their pooch.
